In my presentation
I walk you through what is a very trying ordeal for every
burn victim using my own personal experience from an arc flash
explosion.
Using photos taken at the arc flash accident site I demonstrate
how a moment of poor planning for a seasoned professional
always results in a dangerous situation - not to mention the
dangers to new employees / apprentices.

My presentation, although laced with
facts and figures, is not about enforcing all of the well known
Health and Safety policies but to remind all Contractors and
their Employees of the outcome of a “Moment’s”
variation from well thought out procedures and planning.
When you see first hand the seriousness of the outcome of my
incident it will put a human face in your mind the next time
you think "I’ve done this before so I won’t
question it".
I provide an engaging presentation that undoubtedly makes employees
think twice and leaders stop and think.
A portion of the honorarium that I ask for this seminar will
be donated to Canadian Trauma or Burn Centres. |
